Can you guys tell me some things about Arg and Bra football I have seen it on channel five several times late at night, it seems to be a good standard and obviously Liverpool lost to Sao Paulo, I was wondering if you guys tell me about some of the up and coming players and the likeness of Gremio winning things, I say them because they are the team which I always used to start with on Championship manager as they had Ronaldinho, and unsurprisingly he was awesome. |

Brazillian football is great, its fluent. But european football is better by a mile. All the great brazillians of today play in europe. There whole squad except Rogerio Ceni play in europe. Nevertheless they are good footballers over there. |

And if Rogerio Ceni wasnt old hed be going to Europe too, 33 years old... but the greatest keeper to shoot free kicks and penalties in the whole world... Last libertadores i watched a game where he scored 2 free kicks.. thats right now one but two! Sao Paolo still doesnt compare to Liverpool, they only won because they defended like crazy and with luck...
Just to keep you updated, south americas champions league is in quarter finals and the teams in are...
Liga Deportiva Universitaria (Ecuador)
Velez Sarsfield (Argentina)
Estudiantes (Argentina)
River Plate (Argentina)
Libertad (Paraguay)
Guadalajara (Mexico)
Sao Paolo (Brazil)
Internazional (Brazil)
So expect to see one of these play Barca or Arsenal later on this year.. (ive never seen a international cup on tv wtf)! |

Both Argentina and Brazil produce the best players is just that most of the teams don't really have the financial backing so they sell their players to big money european teams, I wish those two leagues would get more press because they deserve it. |

In my opinion, Brazilian and Argentinan leagues are excellent, European leagues get more press therefore more money, but in terms of skills I would say that the south american leagues can hold their own against European teams, I just wished there were more intercontinental club tournaments. |
