I use 39 normally, but I ordered a Newcastle kit with my name and 99 since they have someone with my number on the roster already.

I never really had a set number until my junior year in high school when I was in the play "Damn Yankees". I was the lead and the script called for me to wear the number 39. Ever since I've used it for most everything.

I also use 99 because I'm a hockey fan, and because I usually give it to young stars in video games and that's how I like to think about myself.

Off Topic: the Minnesota Wild hockey team retired the number 1 before their first game in honor of the fans. It has never been worn in the history of Minnesota professional hockey.
