What do you appreciate more?
Okay, so what do you appreciate more, a goal or the assist for the goal.

In my opinion the assist is better since without it, there would be no goal. Of course once in a time an awesome solo play can happen but most of the time people who try to go solo miss... and piss me off..

What do you think?

personnal, scoring:
why?
- I love to see beautiful goals
- you don't win a game by most assists but by most goals

Your second statement makes no sense as if you have an assist you have a goal.

I think it's the combination of the 2 put together that i like, but that doesnt really answer your question though does it. I would have to say scoring myself, thats what everybody remembers.

@ seiya: damn, you're right, need to get out more, get some fresh air
under assist I understood, pass to give a teammate a scoring chance, which doesn't always is scored, but you're right
Jesus, I think I can write a book about all dumb things I said and did here
but like RR said, everyone remembers the goals

i would also go with goals because whenever do you ever see assists of the season you mostly see goals of the year or so everyone remembers the goals maybe once in a while there will be a awsome assist the people will remember but most people just care about the goals

I was talking more about the level of our play.. not stars... i mean when im playing in a team and some moron shoots when im wide open and have a better scoring chance... then he misses... i get mad.

Both are needed and thats why hockey tallies points as goals + assists. For evey one beautiful assist there are two goals of the same caliber.
