I think I'm more happy with assists because I'm an defender and I can't go forwards, the trainer doesn't let me do that.
And I gave a lot of assists this season.
And I'm glad too if I score a goal, But I'm the most of all happy if we win and if the whole team is happy.
Like we Lost a lot of games this season, and everybody is laughing very much after the game, only a few players are first a little mad (like me Very Happy) but a few minutes later we can laugh with the team too Wink

i would also go with goals because whenever do you ever see assists of the season you mostly see goals of the year or so everyone remembers the goals maybe once in a while there will be a awsome assist the people will remember but most people just care about the goals

lololo youre just saying that because all v.nistelrooy does is push the ball in the line.. it kinda pisses me off

i really think the better thing to do is an assist because it takes away your selfishness and youre ego and you learn to play like a team not like some guy.. what i most support after ac milan is the joga bonito association and i would say a million assists is better than a million goals (obvioulsy not a million) but it is true that everyone remembers the goals though BUT you should not care what everyone remembers but knowing that it is about playing beatiful

JOGA BONITO me's ammi futbolerg (or however you spell it but cantona says it so its in french)

it depends, eg. if a goal is scored by a shot outside the box then the guy who just gave a simple pass gets the credit for the goal, so in this case an assist is bullshit whereas sometimes it can be the other way round(nistelrooy's goals which are 'tap-ins').

I prefer assists because you made the play happen & allowed for the shot to be taken. The goalscorer, in some cases, just had to hit the ball. However some goals are really skillful & well executed by the player. Also, you really do get better recognition for them. Honestly, I'd be happy with either Very Happy
