Without Henry and Fabregas, Arsenal would be average at best

issbill you must be a hotspurs fan. Because to insult the class of Henry by comparing him to Jimmy Greaves thats outragous. Henry is a world great, in my opinion (which is biased, of course lol) Henry is top 5 ever to play football. EVER. But hey Jimmy Greaves was a good player dont get me wrong, but Henry is better.

you're just a thierry henry fan so your opinion is biased.

Henry is top 5 strikers ever, but Greaves is in the top 3, he was as good as Pele, etc.

Watch the semi of the European Cup when Spurs played Benfica to watch how good Greaves is, and he never went missing in the big matches like Henry.

Now days Greaves would score an aboslute bundle and would without question score 30+ goals a season.

Its not hard to compare 1960's players which were special as they would still be as good now days if not better

Sorry I think I insulted Greaves by comparing him to a player like Henry, watch Greaves and you will see how much better he was, let us know when Henry scores a hat trick on his debut for every club he plays for, how about being the top scorer ever not at just one club but at least two.

Name a player who could have a goals to games ratio as good as Greaves in any era including the 1920's etc

Name me a player, who caused such a big reaction from the public that when he was out of the world cup, everyone thought it was over, and I mean everyone (even more of a reaction than Rooney)

Do not compare a player like Henry to a player as good as Pele.

Thank you
I was not harping Greaves at all dont get me wrong. Thank you for finally someone giving Henry the credit he deserves. Greaves was a fantastic player i definantly exxagerated about Henry, but it is extremely hard to even imagine the two playing in either era, the game has evolved so much, its immpossible to tell , but yes Greaves was fantastic, as is Henry. And Henry has only been at one club nearly his entire carreer, and he is still young so dont worry, he still has lots of highlight tapes to create.

i think the game has changed. Its much more physcial and all the players are constantly getting in better and better shape. I doubt that players from 20 years ago could still compete if they were at their top shape.
