Messi What is the general veiwing of Messi in this forum? Do you think he is as great as people bill him to be? I think he played fantastically in the world cup, but he just did not get enough oppurtunites. In La Liga he seems like perfect counterpart to both Ronaldinho and Eto'o. I think he will have an unbeleivable breakout in for Barca in 2006-7, and by 2010 he will be one of the premier strikers in the game. |

Well yeah he's calss, if only he got more oppurtnuities in the WC, it's all b/c of Pekerman, IUm a huge Aimar fan, and he didn't even play poo, so Im sick of that, Im happy Pekerman resigned |

Maybe Pekerman is coming back because more than 70% of the Argentinian people want him back. So still no opportunities for Aimar |

i really hope he doesnt come back he positively blew them the match. Not even as much as not playing messi or Aimar but taking out riquelme when the team needed someone to control the ball. |

i think we all can blame pekerman for that loss but u can't discount the germans they played pretty good.
As for Messi. If you havn't seen his clips from the last world championships then you havn't seen his best skills. He runs around defenders from all countries including the US like they're nothing. |
