Improving Reaction Time
As I am sure we all know, a game can turn around in a split second if a team isn't paying as much attention as they should. I have seen this time and time again but have never really come up with a suitable way to try and fix the problem. I've also notices that a player can be doing really well in practice, but once the game starts, their reaction time slows way down.

What do you think a coach could do to try and improve the reaction time of the team during not only practice, but the real deal.

Hmm I have some good times on the field and some really bad ones too, I always give it my all at practise, and sometimes it just doesn't want to work, whil when Im in a game, I can curl every ball in the net, and at practise I cant, well it can also be the other way aorund too lol, that happens to me a lot, and I dunno what a coach can do about it tbh

do what my coach does, & sprint the hell out of us after the game. Mad but seriously.. we got the point after 5 or 6 games. even after wins, she'd give us a sprint for every "mistake" we made. like once we won 5-0, but had to do 6 sprints up & down the field for 5 "unnecessary fouls & an illegal throw". now, we're playing our game 100% of the time. & we haven't had to do sprints after the game in the past 2 weeks! lol. your players might not be too happy with you, but hey, we get over it.

Ugh yeah i had to sprints for a whole week too, sprints suck lol!

Reaction time is something that comes natural with your nature... in other words your reflexes are what they are, the best you can do is to be wide awake and alert to make sure you give your 100%... but above that... i think only by doing martial arts you can improve it Smile
