Hugo Sanchéz: new mexico coach
Mexico's national team will be coached by Hugo Sanchéz. After his years as a top striker he already coached Boca Juniors and Nexaca. Sanchéz signed a contract until 2010. The other canditate, Américo Gallego, retreated saying it was "in the interest of Mexican soccer".

Sanchéz, El niño de oro, is considered the best Mexican soccerplayer ever. With him, Real Madrid won the league 5 times in a row and Sanchez was 5 times topscorer in the primera division. In 1990 he put down a record by placing the ball in the net 38 times.

What do you guys think about him as a coach? I think he'll probably do better than La Volpe.
