Euro player of the year
Canavaro was awarded for his great performance for Juve and italy with the winning of the euro player of the year with italian keeper buffon 2nd and henry 3rd and ronaldinho 4th and zidane 5th
He deffinetly deserves it by being such a solid defender which won the world cup for italy  |

yeah and he had 173 points and Buffon only 126, henry 123 points so Canavaro won in whit a save distance from the second Buffon |

I think that someone like Thierry Henry deserves it. Even though I'm a Manchester United fan. Come on he was in the champions league final, world cup final. Look at Cannavaro, he did win the world cup but he's been making silly mistakes in that real madrid defence. And speaking of his "GREAT" performances at Juve, he did have a certain Lilian Thuram by his side. |

camavaro is someone you dont see make this briliant runs and score goals but the commonly give players who are mid and str for there ability to score and create and leave out the defender so i think it is right that somefinally recognised that canavaro has done something to win the world cup and take 2 seria a ( which were stripped) and when you watch the champions league it was more of arsenals tight defence is why the made it so far they weren't scoring a heck of alot

I half agree with united...
Cannavaro doesn deserve it but tbh i don't think Henry deserved it either...for me frank Lampard was the best player in Europe last year..they might not have made it to the champs league final and he didn have a great world cup...but he was consistent throughout the season |

I agre whit you nasr, Lampard diservede it more then Canavaro. It's hard to find a bad game of Lampard this year, i don't say he should won it but he should be at least in the top 5 |
