Wenger: Senderos is top Drog

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has tipped Philippe Senderos to come out on top in his duel with striking nemesis Didier Drogba this Sunday.

Kolo Toure is suspended and William Gallas is injured so an onus will fall on the broad shoulders of Swiss international Senderos.

In an intriguing sub-plot, the match will pit Senderos against Drogba - an opponent who last season got the better of him on more than one occasion.

But Wenger believes the tables could be turned at Stamford Bridge.

"It will be a challenge but Senderos will play," the Frenchman said. "He's had some tough games against Drogba. He can show he has improved a lot from last year.

"He had some very good games in the Champions League last season. We didn't concede for 10 games so I'm very confident he will do well.

"Drogba is playing well but this is part of a learning process. Today, Senderos is more experienced and he can show that against Drogba.

"I'm not worried about the situation. Drogba has got better and Senderos has as well. Who has improved the most? We'll answer that on Sunday."

Meanwhile, The Gunners have issued a statement to fans attending the match.

Visiting supporters have been warned against the taunting of Ashley Cole, who could be in for a rough ride from the away end following his controversial departure from Arsenal in August.

A statement issued said: "Those of you attending the Chelsea game will know there are a number of actions planned against individuals at Chelsea by a small minority of Arsenal fans.

"The club would like all supporters to be aware that anyone found to be bringing in inflatable mobile phones or fake bank notes will be either refused entry or ejected from the ground.

"Arsenal do not tolerate any foul or abusive behaviour and we are working closely with both Chelsea and the relevant authorities to ensure that Sunday's match will be played in a safe and positive environment."

"Gallas and Toure being ruled out won't help our cause for a win tomorrow. Senderos will be playing against Drogba and we always know how that turns out.

I think Arsenal will have to switch to a 4-5-1 again like we did when we went to Old Trafford at the start of the season and go from there. This is how I would like to see the line-up with our current injuries and suspensions.

-----------------------Lehmann--------------

-- Eboue -- Djourou -- Senderos -- Clichy

Hleb -- Ljungberg -- Gilberto -- Fabregas -- Van Persie

---------------------Adebayor-------------------

That looks like a pretty good line-up in midfield. Hleb can make skillful runs down the right hand side and lately I've seen him form a great understanding with Eboue and Fabregas. Those three all know what they are thinking.

We'd also have the experience of Freddie and Gilberto. Gilberto will have to work extremely hard tomorrow to make sure that our defence isn't left too vulnerable. I think that this is one of Gilberto's best seasons so far though and I feel that he is an improved player when he plays as the captain.

Of course Fabregas will be all over the midfield and you've got the flair of Van Persie coming in from the left.

However I think that Wenger may choose to play Flamini in the midfield instead of Ljungberg, Hleb or Van Persie because he is more defense minded. I don't think this would be a good move and whenever Flamini has played this season he hasn't really impressed me.

If I was asked outright who the winner will be I'd say Chelsea. But then again we have raised our game for the big matches this season and this is certainly a big match."

so i say...2-1 to chelsea!

Chesea should take it
Arsenal have not being on astonishing form in the last few games and i dont think fabregas, lunberg and gilberto would be able to contain the chelsea midfield

I will say the same as papa and say 2-0 with lampard and drogba doing it again
