Liverpool Vs Fulham Liverpool could move third in the Premiership with success over Fulham at Anfield
The Reds' league form has improved of late after going four unbeaten, including a 4-0 thumping of Wigan at The JJB last time out.
Fulham meanwhile have lost three out of their last four in the Premiership, although they did see off Arsenal 2-1 at Craven Cottage towards the back end of last month.
The Cottagers will need to be fresh ahead of this weekend's clash after manager Chris Coleman blamed fatigue for their loss to Blackburn Rovers last time out.
Fulham's all-time record defeat came in a 10-0 loss to The Reds in the League Cup back in 1986 and Rafa Benitez's side have scored eight goals in their two league home meetings with The Cottagers.
Liverpool suffered a 3-2 UEFA Champions League loss to Galatasaray in midweek, although Benitez opted to leave out a number of key players from his starting line-up.
Jose Reina is set to return in goal ahead of Jerzy Dudek, while Steven Gerrard, Sami Hyypia and Steve Finnan should all feature after being rested.
Craig Bellamy played 74 minutes in Istanbul so Dutch striker Dirk Kuyt might be restored alongside the Welsh flyer or Peter Crouch.
Luis Garcia had just under half an hour's action in the 3-2 loss and he may be given the nod, although Mark Gonzalez is out with a hamstring strain.
A knee injury keeps Boudewijn Zenden on the sidelines along with Mohamed Sissoko (shoulder) and Harry Kewell (septic arthritis).
Keeper Jan Lastuvka is set to continue to deputise in goal for Antti Niemi after he made his Premiership debut against Blackburn.
With Franck Queudrue still recovering from an ankle knock Liam Rosenior will remain at left-back with Moritz Volz patrolling the right side of defence.
Jimmy Bullard, Mark Pembridge and Simon Elliott are all long-term injury casualties for Coleman.
Veteran hit-man Brian McBride is likely to return up front after being rested for last weekend's loss at Ewood Park.
Skysports.com Prediction: 3-1
Liverpool to brush aside Coleman's charges at Anfield.
Player to watch: Steven Gerrard
