Former Arsenal player qunicy happy at spartak Quincy joined Spartak in the beginning of 2006 but last year was somewhat controversial for him.
The Dutchman played in 26 games, though started only nine of them, and scored only one goal.
However Quincy himself thinks the season was not too bad.
"I have good impressions after my first year with Spartak," told Quincy to Sport Express.
"We are a strong team, we played in the Champions League and will play there next season as well."
"Unfortunately I had some injuries and that was the reason why I did not play too many games."
"I had a couple of good games and was voted the best Spartak player in the away game against Internazionale."
"But I think I am capable to do more, and I can't say I am completely happy with the last year."
"Injuries were the main reason but I am looking forward for the next season. I hope it will be more successful."
"Of course I am a forward and sometime the manager plays me in midfield but I have no problem with it."
"From the other hand, Spartak could have had a much better season last year."
"We were capable to win the league and dropped too many points in the final minutes of the games."
"But it's already in the past and now we have to do our best to get well prepared for the next season."
