CAN ITALY DEFEND IT'S TITLE IN 2010? They are been rumours flying around that Brazil always wins the cup the every after 2 world cups and this time the results are pretty much clear that Brazil would add 1 more to it's 5 world cup trophies. That's possible if they play their game.
On the other hand, Italy barely won that Cup and everyone knows that France was the rightfully winner of the cup but things didnt go as planned for the French side. Therefore, Italy's is 20 against 80 percent likely to win it again.
For 2010 Fifa WC, I am going with either an African nation or one of the "underachiervers" Spain or Portugal.
WHAT DO YOU THINK?

obviously i will be supporting the hosts south africa but teams that are likely to win would probably be the 4 semifinalists from 2006
Ghana will have a tough time getting to the world cup if senegal, cameroon and nigeria and tunisia are all in different groups it will be hard for ghana to qualify |

I don't think Italy will be able to defend their title, most of the top players from now will be old and maybe retired then.
I think Brazil and Argentina are having a chance of winning it, because they always perform well.
Germany, Portugal and Spain will have a good squad as well, you should not underestimate them.
But I think it's going to be England.
I don't think Australia or the USA will be able to win it. Because of the lack of stars or people who can decide a game. I mean, they can get through the group stages by 'being a team' but eventually you have to face a team with better players.
I don't think an African team is going to win it, I can't see which African team would be able too. |
