Not exactly latest news..what do you think about Australia..
Joining the Asian League? They are like really close to finally do it. Their reason is they always lose the playoffs vs South America... (which is really sad, the south american #5 team isnt that good)

What do you guys think?

I thought they already decided that they were goin to join the Asia group and not up for consideration. I think it's a good idea. The oceania group was pathetic.

Yea the asia guys already did, and when i posted this topic fifa was about to give their answer, they probably already did iand im pretty sure they said yes Smile

but my point here is if australia couldnt beat #5 in south america how are they gonna get past from first round

Now thats something that will never happen, hahaha, but they wil lbe playing with them next year i think.. more competition in asia, good for our asian fans

I think the entire Oceania playoff system was dumb to start, for the Aussies to be the only real top nation year after year in that group, it was as easy as 1, 2, 3 to make it in the playoff, but to win was another story. This idea of becoming appart of Asia is a great idea, it might spice things up in Asia as well.
