m not pinpointing any problem here, its just Chelsea became better thanks to abramovich. I remember those days, when the epl was rather competitive than one sided. When chelsea were playing hard and like a Team. But eversince Roman came, things became hell lot easier for them, they got so many good players, and sometimes their 'b' team can challenge against an 'a' team. I dont even know whether if there would be competition in the epl. ever.
QUESTIONS: Before the abramovich revolution, were chelsea ever gonna get these sort of players? Would they have won the league last season? Gone the cl semi's two years in a row? Win the commuity? could u still remember
chelsea before roman? dont u think the fa should apply some cost restrictions on chelsea? for the good of the game, so chelsea dont just buy so many expensive players and start becoming "untouchable" and for the epl to have a Real competition. Since we are in Roman's revolution, who do you think was the BEST transfer for chelsea which had started their "dominant team".?
P.S.. now before all you fans might hit at me or hate me.. i just want to say, im not angry with chelsea or anything nor do i envy them. I just want to know what a real hardcore Chelsea fan thinks of this topic. thx. |

think before you speak dude....let's just get this right,
vieira:had come to arsenal for only 3.5 mil. which even a mid table club can afford.Wenger was the one who nurtured his career else he would've spent time sitting in the Milan reserves.
henry:came to arsenal for 10.5 mil. not quite compared to 'NEWCASTLE' who spent 15 mil.+ this summer season.
cole:arsenal DID NOT buy cole as he passed through the youth system and again wenger spotted his talent as he did with henry and vieira.
ljungberg:came to arsenal for only 3 mil. a fee which again even west ham and sunderland spent this season. as always wenger spotted talent and nurtured him.
pires:fee=6 mil. not so much again. What the hell wenger spots him again.
i guess reyes is the only exception. so i guess this answers your poo that trophies can be won without spending 200 mil.+ in 1 summer like your chelsea.Also it is because all the clubs know that mourinho will pay any amount for buying a player which is why the price shoots up, exactly the reason why arsenal and united never compete with chelsea when it comes to such stuff.
