According to reports in Germany, the smart money would appear to be on Bayern Munich midfielder Michael Ballack joining Real Madrid.
The German giants are currently trying to persuade the player to sign a new contract in the knowledge that he can leave for free next summer when his current deal expires.

... well its NOT b/c of this article, but i've been thinking about it for awhile and loosing alot of thought over it and i've fianally decided that Ballack IS going to leave.... prolly for Real....
why??
b/c its Real.. somply put.. hes got a Bundesliga crown, a Pokal a Championsleague... now he wants a La Liga title and Spanish Cup etc..
wherever he's going, its not in the budesliga... 
... but maybe there's still hope...?  |

After all these talks, I think he should go. It's better for Bayern to move up, it's not good when you depend on a single player. |

if i was ballack i was all ready gone
i think that michael ballack must go now he has the oppertunetie for going to an absolute top club .
bayern is good but ballack can play with an better team |

I don't think he will stay in Germany, I feel he wants to get out there and acheive more, perfect place for this is obviously Chelsea |

indeed, I think he already has chosen for Chelsea. I didn't took the offer of Real b/c he likes more to play for Chelsea. |

The same like I said about Henry going to Barca, he just ain't Chelsea material, Ballack in chelsea, never, he sucks, he doesn't belong there, a german like that needs to stay in Bayern, and since Bayern is doing good in their Bundesliga, he has to stay there cuz they'll be playing CL again next year, I just can't see Ballack playing with another team besides Bayern |

That's true, but who's going to stop those guys. Ballack won't play that much in Chelsea, the midfield of Chelsea is too good for him, he won't play there. But it is his choice where he wants to play for. |
