Thanks, and GoHawks, I really don't think Lincoln could have got a chance to play in the first eleven of the NT. |

Well, he sure was good enough, and lord knows we need some players but i'm glad that Klinsmann decided not too go with him. Just didnt seem right to have this guy just hop on board all of the sudden. |

Georgian international Levan Kobiashvili has agreed a contract extension with Schalke, committing the player to the Royal Blues until 2010.
The 28-year-old joined Schalke in 2003 from Freiburg and has gone on to make 63 appearances for the Bundesliga side.
He said: "I am extremely happy here and want to win the Bundesliga with Schalke."
Schalke's general manager Rudi Assauer confirmed his delight at Kobiashvili's decision to tie his long-term future to the club.
Assauer added: "Levan is one of the best signings we have made in the last ten years." |
That's great news, he is one of our best players in my opinion. |

Good news for S04, I don't really know him, but that's just b/c I don't really follow the Bundesliga, but still he seems like a great player, good for Schalke04 that they don't lose their defending skills.. |

| Quote: | Rangnick targets perfect start
Schalke take on Borussia Mönchengladbach at the Veltins Arena this Saturday. And the two sides have had very different starts. While the Royal Blues have won both their opening Bundesliga matches, the visitors from the Lower Rhine have picked up just a single point. Yet head coach Ralf Rangnick has warned his players not to take the game too lightly.
"I don't believe Gladbach will come to defend. I'm expecting them to go forward because their strengths lie clearly in midfield and attack. That's where they have their best players", explained Rangnick. Horst Köppel's men are, after all, a team that like to go out and play.
It's an outlook that has benefited the Royal Blues in recent matches, though Rangnick isn't placing too much importance on this fact. "It doesn't come down to that. It's up to us to go out and do everything we can to win the game."
Some doubt remains over the availability of Fabian Ernst, however. "Fabian has a 50-50 chance of playing. He upped his training schedule on Wednesday and completed an entire session with rehab coach Christos Papadopoulos. We'll now have to see whether he comes through full training without any problems."
New signing Rafinha could make his Bundesliga debut, though Rangnick will not be including the 19-year-old Brazilian in his starting eleven. "I don't expect him to start. Though we can always lose someone to injury, he would normally begin as a squad player and not in the first team. He's only had five training sessions so far after all", said Rangnick, before adding with a grin: "Rafinha doesn't even know all his team mates by name yet."
Candidates for the starting line-up are, of course, Schalke's Germany internationals. Having played in the Confederations Cup they did not resume full training until later, but with the exception of the injured Fabian Ernst they have had a chance to catch up over the last two weeks. "Gerald Asamoah even trained on his day off on Monday and Kevin Kuranyi played the full ninety minutes in Dortmund. The international players are further than they a fortnight ago", explained Rangnick.
The Schalke boss has stepped up the pace of training this week. "We worked very intensively on Tuesday and Wednesday. The last few weeks have shown that the lads are having a lot of fun together. There are no complaints even when we train hard."
For Rangnick it was an important week for preparing the players for the tasks ahead "because our international players will be away again next week, which means it was our last opportunity to work really intensively again as we start a series of two-match weeks after the game in Leverkusen". |
3 more points would be great, my prediction would be 3-0 . |

We drew 1-1 . Well 7 points in 3 games is not bad but I hope Bayern won't play like this for the rest of the season. |

Well, not to bad. A 1-1 a/g BMG isnt the best result but wins with in the other 2 are nice. I think if u guys can keep it up, you'll be fine; just a bit of a flop... |
