Ow I don't think Chelsea will let him leave to Schalke, he's a great defender, Schalke will need him but I don't know, I think Cheslea can miss him, so maybe he can break his contract and leave to Scahlke eventhough Cheslea is a bigger team than Schalke04
Hmm Aston Villa, I don't think they stand a chance, maybe if he wants to play in the EPL further on, maybe, but Chelsea is better...
So the make a long story (as it is) short: He won't leave Chelsea ! |

Schalke got a good result, 2-2 against Milan. Hopefully we can get the UEFA Cup spot if we can't qualify for the next Champions League round. Soren Larsen scored his 7th goal in 7 matches for Schalke, he's doing very well. He scored about 4 in the last games for Denmark too. Seems like he's really the next Ebbe Sand, good luck to him. |

Schalke net opening win against nine-men Fenerbahce
Schalke 04 gave themselves a great chance of qualifying for the knockout phase of the Champions League with a 2-0 group win over nine-man Fenerbahce at the Arena Auf Schalke.
A 32nd minute header from German international Kevin Kuranyi and a last minute strike from substitute Ebbe Sand helped Schalke record their first victory in this season's Champions League, and only their third in total, to relieve the pressure on manager Ralf Rangnick.
Rangnick knew anything but a win would end Schalke's European hopes and possibly cost him his job but, aided by two sendings-off, his charges responded with a vital win.
"We have a great chance of advancing now," said Rangnick. "At 1-0 we were afraid of conceding even though they had nine men but came through unscathed.
"The other group result makes it interesting too. Our next two games are like cup finals."
PSV Eindhoven defeated AC Milan 1-0 on Tuesday to move top of the group and having leapfrogged Fenerbahce Schalke are now level on five points with Milan with the group set to go down to the wire.
Fenerbahce goalkeeper Demirel Volkan had a nightmare in the 3-3 home draw with Schalke and he looked unsure of himself in the opening exchanges with some flamboyant punches when it seemed easier to catch the ball.
In the 12th minute Brazilian midfielder Lincoln, who scored twice in Istanbul, had Schalke's first chance but his header did not have sufficient power to beat Volkan.
Schalke pressed on though and in the 32nd minute they got the breakthrough with Kuranyi powering a header past Volkan after a pinpoint cross from Lincoln.
With five minutes to go until the interval Fenerbahce pressed the self-destruct button with Brazilian defender Fabio Luciano cleaning out compatriot Lincoln as he raced clear on goal.
Luciano deservedly picked up a straight red card and Fenerbahce faced up to overturning a deficit with ten men.
That was hard enough but in the 55th minute the Turkish side saw their numerical disadvantage increase with Marco Aurelio picking up a second yellow card.
Schalke did not find the comfort of a second goal until Danish striker Sand struck in the final minute to spoil Christoph Daum's return to Germany.
It was Daum's first appearance in Germany on business since famously testing positive for cocaine in 2000 when he was being groomed as the next Germany manager.
Rangnick worked with Daum at VfB Stuttgart in the early 1990s but there was no time for sympathy against his former mentor with his job on the line and points at stake.

Schalke 04 is always been my favourite team in the German league. But I think it's because there played very much belgian players: Mpenza, Van Kerckhoven, Wilmots and Vermant. Now they've been sold but I still follow their prestations. |
