Mido joined up with Spurs from AS Roma in the January transfer window and made an immediate impact at White Hart Lane at the start of a two-year loan spell.

He has enjoyed a fine start to the new campaign. Mido scored Tottenham's second in their thrilling second-half fightback against second-placed Charlton before going off with a hamstring strain.
