Charlton Vs Chelsea
| Quote: | Chelsea's flagging title bid will receive some much needed impetus on Saturday when captain John Terry returns to marshal his troops at Charlton.
The Blues have only won half of their eight league games since the defensive stalwart succumbed to a back injury on 13th December and Terry's enforced absence has undoubtedly contributed to Chelsea slipping six points behind leaders Manchester United.
However the reigning champions' old swagger and confidence is now likely to come flooding back at The Valley, where they take on the team second from bottom and with two wins from their last eight games.
Alan Pardew's men know that a shock win could take them out of the bottom three, but even a point is likely to be a huge psychological boost for the struggling Addicks.
News of Terry's return has been somewhat tempered by a knee injury that is likely to sideline Ashley Cole for a lengthy period, but the England international is expected to return before the end of the season.
His namesake Joe continues his rehabilitation from a long-term foot injury, and doubts still surround the fitness of winger Arjen Robben.
Khalid Boulahrouz will miss out due to a knee ligament injury, but the Dutchman is nearing a return to add further depth to a defence which was not strengthened during the January transfer window.
The Addicks did whip out their chequebook but £2.5million signing Madjid Bougherra has seen his top-flight debut delayed by a calf strain.
However Talal El Karkouri will be available as his suspension for five bookable offences will take effect in next week's game against Manchester United.
Charlton fended off January interest in star striker Darren Bent, but the England international is likely to miss the Chelsea game due to a knee injury, along with Luke Young.
Winger Andy Reid could return to the starting line-up after recovering from a hamstring injury.
Skysports.com Prediction: 0-3
Terry's return helps The Blues to keep the pressure on United.
Player to watch: Michael Ballack

Chelsea r 2 strong 4 this game, it will be good for them to see Terry to return 2 the game, they missed him very badly.
Chelsea will win this game by 3-0 which I agree with Skysports's prediction
scores will be: Drogba, Lampard & Drogba |
