Chelsea v Aston Villa [P][R] Well chelsea won 2-0 away against Fulham... which is a pretty good result seeing as they are back up there in first place now with 15 points.... but do you guys think they will be able to keep the good game up and beat Aston Villa at home? Maybe if they get a little over confident and underestimate villa, they could be damaged. I mean even a draw would be bad |

Well as the form CHelsea is in atm, I doubt they'd be losing points against Villa, so Id say they'd win pretty easy |

Stamford Bridge
Saturday, 30 September
Kick-off: 1500 BST
John Obi Mikel is set to make his first Premiership start for Chelsea, while Claude Makelele is pressing for a recall after being rested in midweek.
However, Joe Cole is still not fit after his knee injury.
Villa manager Martin O'Neill is set to name an unchanged squad after their unbeaten start to the season.
O'Neill's only selection dilemma appears to be whether to recall defender Martin Laursen in place of either Olof Mellberg or Liam Ridgewell.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Chelsea (from): Cech, Ferreira, Boulahrouz, Carvalho, Terry, A Cole, Bridge, Geremi, Makelele, Essien, Diarra, Lampard, Ballack, Mikel, Robben, Kalou, Wright-Phillips, Drogba, Shevchenko, Cudicini.
Aston Villa (from): Sorensen, Hughes, Mellberg, Ridgewell, Barry, Davis, McCann, Petrov, Agbonlahor, Angel, Moore, Taylor, Laursen, Whittingham, Berger.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Chelsea midfielder John Obi Mikell:
"Andriy Shevchenko is doing really well and he will start scoring. He just needs that time to come.
"Everything needs time. Shevchenko is a very good player, he is just waiting for that time.
"The Premiership is faster and tougher."
Aston Villa boss Martin O'Neill:
"Make no mistake, we will create some very good chances and it is up to us to put one or two of those away.
"What's the point in thinking you're going to lose? Manchester United and Liverpool go there thinking they have a reasonable chance of success.
"That's our aim. It might not happen but that doesn't mean I'm going there full of fear and dread."
i'll say 3-1 to Chelsea |
