Materazzi gets another headbut I found the article in dutch, so here's the translation:
In the game against Sampadoria, the inter-defender Materazzi received a headbut by Gennaro Delvecchio. According to Delvecchio Materazzi was provocing him. The Italian denies everything.
"I didn't do anything wrong, I only said he had to stop." declares Materazzi in Sky Italia. "When he got red for the headbut he already made an offence on Adriano, after that the fault on our keeper followed where Delvecchio kicked him."
"When I saw him doing this, I said he had to slow down. But he gave me a headbut. I had a wound in my mouth and it bleeded heavily" the Italian continues "I often do things wrong and get punished for that, but this time it wasn't my fault."
Inter will be facing Sampadoria again this week for the Copa Italia
I think it's quite funny a player gets headbutted twice. I think I know what he's saying all the time, something like "use your head, stupid" |
