United Vs Bolton MANCHESTER UNITED go into this Saturday lunchtime north-west derby with Bolton, chasing the Champions League, Premiership and FA Cup treble. They go into the game on a five-match winning League run, needing seven more victories and one draw from nine remaining games to clinch a ninth Premiership title in 15 seasons.
The odd goal in three reverse away to Arsenal on 21 January, is United's only defeat in 11 League outings over three months. Only one goal has been conceded in collecting 15 points out of 15.
United are looking for a fifth successive Premiership victory over Bolton, to take their unbeaten run against them to nine. A hat-trick from Wayne Rooney in the week he celebrated his 21st birthday, shattered the Trotters at the Reebok in October. The Red Devils are now hoping to 'double' Bolton for the fourth time in the Premiership, and second time in as any seasons.
BOLTON WANDERERS go to the Theatre of Dreams for their 300th League game under Sam Allardyce, in danger of tumbling to three successive Premiership defeats for the first time this season, and in 34 League games since suffering five in a row between 26 March and 15 April last year. But their fifth placing in the table is not in danger, whatever the result here.
Wanderers have not managed to pick up a point since losing at home to Arsenal in the FA Cup fourth round replay on 14 February. That defeat in extra time, has been followed by a 4-1 reverse at Tottenham, and 1-2 home loss to Blackburn.
Allardyce's side have not beaten United since Kevin Nolan scored the only goal at the Theatre of Dreams on 11 September 2002.
