Fifa World cup preliminary draw The preliminary draw for the qualifiers will be an interesting one, england in Europe's pool be and the hosts South Africa who will be qualifying for Afcon 2010 are in Africa's pool B.
Could set the trend for who qualifies for the world cup and some big names could lose their spots |

I wouldn't count on it, last i saw Maurituis play that got smashed by a second rate Bafana Bafana who sadly were put in the same group as Nigeria, at least we get automatic qualification for the world cup tho not so for 2010 Afcon |

not that I remember but even if they did, they didn't look anything special and they didn't make it to the African cup of nations in recent years and that can never help you and who would they get in instead, Senegal, Ivory Coast, Egypt. Nigeria, Cameroon. Mali, Guinea, Tunisia. teams that are probably way to good for them |

i read that Mauritius beat South Africa & RSA had a FULL team to choose from!
