How do I win the prizes?
The most wanted prize is obviously, the ball signed by the actual champions, the Brazilians. If you finish in the first place rankings for our prediction league, you will automatically win the grand prize. The other 3 prizes will be raffled amongst everyone else who participated, with each 10 prediction league points counting as a raffle ticket. So for example if you manage to accomulate 101 points in the league, you will get 10 chances at winning one of the secondary prizes. In the case of a tie for the grand prize, it will be raffled the same way as the secondary prizes, but only among the people who occupy the first place.
Who may participate?
This contest is open to everyone world wide. The price for shipping is on us, we want all of you to have fun!**
How do i play this prediction league thing?
It's quite simple! You go to the league page (you must have first joined here) and enter the results for the games at least 1 day before they happen. If you get it right you get points! If you still don't understand, you can ask for help here.
How do points work?
1 point for guessing the right outcome (ie, win, draw, loss)
2 points for guessing the right score.
1 point for guessing the right goal difference.
Knockout Stages
he results for knockout stage will count before penalties. So if in extra time a goal is scored it counts towards the score but if it ends 2-2 at extra time that is the final score. Penalties wont count.
Important Rules
You may not create duplicate accounts and play with more than one. One account per household. If you are caught playing with more than one account both will be dropped and you will be disqualified. You may not use any Sports Almanacs like in the Back to the Future movie! (just kidding) On a more serious note, all admin decisions are final, so respect our rules.
